The release notes for Pokémon GO 0.203 were shared by Niantic on the official support website, highlighting quality of life updates and bug fixes released with this release. Version 0.203 is being released slowly to players around the world on Android. For Apple users, this version will be displayed as version 1.169 on the App Store.

Upgrades
- Trainers can now more easily select all units of an item by tapping the minus button when the selection is one, instead of having to press the plus sign to reach the maximum number.
- When you complete a timed Research task in your Today View that rewards a Pokémon Encounter, it will be displayed at the top of the page if you leave the encounter.
- Level up survey notifications will now appear on the left side of the screen to differentiate them from other survey progress notifications.
- Added the message “Time is up!” to notify you when the time is up for gym battles.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that required trainers to use free or premium battle passes when invited to an invasion, accompanied by a “Walk Closer” message. Trainers can now join the raid they were invited to with a Remote Raid Pass.
- Allows you to exchange Candy XL when the Trainer has the exact number of Candy to convert to Candy XL.
- Fixed a bug in the GO Battle League that would display the Pokémon switch menu again if a Pokémon was switched while passing out.
- Fixed an issue in GO Battle League in which the toggle buttons were not available at the end of the Charged Attack animation.
- Fixed a bug that occasionally prevented coaches from inviting some friends for intrusions until they changed their search.
- Fixed a bug in which, if the Trainer’s Bluetooth was turned off, the “Connect to Nintendo Switch” option was still displayed.
- Fixed a visual bug where the purified Shadow Pokémon still exhibited Shadow Pokémon features after purification.
- Fixed several user interface issues in Russian and other languages.
- The corrected Pokémon icons did not appear in the app notifications.
