Texas woman who took a private plane to DC accused of rioting

Jenna Ryan, a real estate broker from Frisco, Texas, who took a private plane to Washington, DC last week, joined those accused of the pro-Trump riot on Capitol Hill, which she documented on social media, The Dallas Morning News reports.

The criminal complaint filed on Friday showed that Ryan accused “Intentionally entering or staying in any restricted building or land without legal authority” and “disorderly conduct on Capitol land”.

Ryan posted on Facebook that she broke into the Capitol and told a reporter on Candysdirt.com that she and her fellow participants were “frontline patriots”.

“So they said, ‘someone was shot there’, and we thought, we don’t care because our freedom is more important to us than our lives, because the whole premise is to give us freedom or give us death,” she said . “We are frontline patriots who fight for freedom.”

Ryan also told local station Fox4 in an interview that she did not believe she would be arrested.

“I don’t feel like I did anything wrong, in fact, I felt like I did something noble and I’m proud to be there,” she said.
