Several tornadoes landed in northwest Texas on Saturday afternoon, amid heavy storms.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado alert for the Texas Panhandle until 10 pm CST.
The National Weather Service warned Texans to stay indoors and seek shelter.
“Flying debris will be dangerous for those caught without shelter,” said the National Meteorological Service. “Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. It is likely that there will be damage to trees.”
