Texas Longhorns defeated Colorado Buffaloes 55-23 in the Alamo Bowl

Texas skyrocketed to a quick 14-0 lead after Bijan Robinson hit twice early, with an eight-yard touchdown run and a 14-yard reception and running at a screen pace. The Longhorns would start the second half with a long Bijan race once again. He ran 66 yards to put the Longhorns in a great position. Casey Thompson meets Joshua Moore at the touchdown launch of the 13-yard line. Texas would increase 24-10. Sam Ehlinger was removed from the rest of the game due to a shoulder injury.

The Longhorns set a school record for points in a bowl game with 55, breaking the 2007 Holiday Bowl record of 52 points. Casey Thompson tied an Alamo Bowl record with four touchdown passes in a quarter of a game.
