Bettors see the Seahawks as the strong favorites to retain quarterback Russell Wilson. The odds are that Texans are favorites to keep quarterback Deshaun Watson, but the numbers are not that strong.
The Texans, via PointsBet, are +250 to be the team with which Watson will make his next shot. This means that a $ 100 bet will yield $ 250 if the Texans keep Watson.
Frankly, it looks very loud. Apparently, Watson means what he said, even if it was said only in private. Watson is not playing for the Texans again, and no one has reported the opposite. So, if it is a bluff, it is a very good bluff.
Panthers are after Texans, with +300. Then come the Broncos at +400, the Dolphins and 49ers at +700, the Jets at +800 and the Bears at +900.
Of the 22 teams listed, the Packers have a chance to reach +15000. As with Russell Wilson’s longshot (the Chiefs), those odds are very high.
Not all cardinals are listed. With a one-way pipeline emerging between Houston and Phoenix, however, it’s fascinating to ponder a Deshaun to exchange Kyler Murray – a move that would be the most significant quarterback to quarterback business since the Houston Oilers sent Dan Pastorini to Raiders Kenny Stabler, if not even more significant.
It is much more realistic to see Watson finish with a team like the Dolphins, as Miami has ammunition to make a deal, partly thanks to the fact that Miami had (among other things) the choice of Houston’s first round in the 2021 draft, which it also becomes the third general choice.
