Tesla drivers can set their horn to fart sounds – or record their own

The long-awaited software update that allows Tesla owners to change the horn to whatever they want is here.

Sounds offered include farts, goat, snake, applause and more.

You can actually record a custom sound that can be anything you want, which is equally amazing and very, very scary parts.

However, there is a caveat; Like explained by Elon Musk, only Tesla cars with the optional pedestrian speaker feature can do this.

If you have this feature, it means that your Tesla can also be the source of sound at a party. You can also create your own party wherever you go. With disco hits. Or a selection of obscure 1970s psychedelic rock tracks. In fact, the more I think about it, the more it seems that this feature should be used very, very carefully.

However, there is a trick that Tesla applied to make the feature less intrusive for other drivers: the car must be parked to function. Otherwise, all you get is the good old standard horn.
