Terry Rozier’s first buzzer-buzzer for Hornets vs. Warriors from Dell Curry

Terry Rozier helped Charlotte Hornets to steal a victory Saturday night against the Warriors, hitting a 3-point drop when time was up.

It was Charlotte’s first victorious franchise against the Warriors in a long time, and the last Hornet to do so has an interesting connection to the Bay Area.

Dell Curry, the father of the Warriors star, Steph, dropped this 3 points in 1989 to seal a victory over the Warriors.

Steph was a late scratch from Saturday night’s game as he was not “feeling well” according to Warriors PR.

The Warriors had an advantage in the end, but after Draymond Green was sent off with nine seconds left and Charlotte dropped a pair of technical free throws to tie the game, Rozier hit the jumper to secure the victory.

Dell, who is now a broadcast analyst at Hornets, would probably like to see his son play live, but at least he can be happy that his team came out on top.
