Terraria Developers ReLogic’s CEO said he was dismissing the launch of Stadia after Google deactivated his account without explanation and he was unable to recover it. Andrew Spinks is fed up with them and said publicly, “I will not be involved with a company that values its customers and partners so little.” My God.
The ratings board listings for a Stadia launch of the craft-o-fight cracking sandbox game appeared just a few days ago and are now discarded even before it was officially announced.
Andrew Spinks complained on twitter yesterday that your Google account has been disabled for more than three weeks. “I still have no idea why, and after using all the resources I have to solve the problem, you did nothing but turn me around,” he said. So he didn’t just lose a Gmail address he used 15 years ago, he says, all of his data on Google Drive and thousands of dollars in purchases from the Android app store went, too. He is not very satisfied:
I absolutely did nothing to violate your terms of service, so I can’t understand it any other way than if you decide to burn this bridge. Consider it burnt. #Terraria for @GoogleStadia it’s cancelled. My company will no longer support any of its platforms going forward.

“I will not be involved with a company that values its customers and partners so little,” he concluded. “Doing business with you is a risk.” Oof.
Re-Logic elaborated further on the timeline in a statement to Stadia Source. “The impact is material in nature – and that has been made clear to Google repeatedly,” they said. They also noted that this does not affect the Android version of Terraria.
Too much bad news for Stadia lately. Google announced last week that it was shutting down two development studios that opened to create Stadia games. Of course, it seems that the last doomed attempt to get cloud games to run is really doomed.
Terraria is one of the best survival games, tell us. Its final update was released on the PC in October.
