Tennessee troll Kentucky with locker room celebration video

After entering the first half with a 42-38 lead, the Kentucky Wildcats continued to fight and extended their double-digit lead 12 minutes into the second half. Keion Brooks Jr. drilled a jump into the painting, followed by a robbery by Devin Askew and buried in the transition by Brandon Boston Jr. to push the UK’s lead to 58-48 in the second media timeout.

At the time, it looked like Kentucky had secured the momentum and was ready to extend the lead in a similar way to the UK’s victories in Florida and LSU.

After the decisive moment of the game – or what it seemed at the time, at least – the official Kentucky basketball men’s Twitter account posted a video of the Boston dunk in transition with the caption “We’re having fun.”

From that point, Tennessee managed to end the game with a 34-13 run to win the 82-71 victory, giving the program its sixth victory in nine attempts against Kentucky. The return win pushed Rick Barnes’ record against John Calipari and the Wildcats to 8-5 since taking over as UT’s head coach, making him the only active head coach to lead his team to at least three wins at the Rupp Arena.

Needless to say, the Volunteers celebrated the victory accordingly, and did not leave Lexington without a quick troll move towards Kentucky.

“We’re having fun,” posted the official Tennessee basketball account on Twitter, accompanied by a video of the team’s dressing room celebration.

They certainly deserved it too.
