Teenager’s body found wrapped in plastic in New York fish market warehouse

The body was found in a warehouse in downtown Manhattan.

Two men were charged with murder after the body of a teenager was found wrapped in plastic at a fish market in New York.

The 19-year-old was unconscious and unresponsive when she was found Saturday morning at 95 South St. in downtown Manhattan, according to the NYPD.

Police identified the woman as Rosalee Sanchez.

The person who found her, inside an empty warehouse, called 911 on Saturday, reported the New York ABC station WABC.

Austin Boehm, 25, and Christian Mercado, 20, were arrested on Sunday and charged with second-degree murder. Neither the suspects nor the victim listed home addresses, police said.

The coroner will determine the cause of death, the police said. The investigation is ongoing.
