A 17-year-old was charged with murder in the death of a wealthy UK restaurant owner, according to a new report.
Susan Addis, 69, was discovered with knife wounds at her Brighton home on Thursday, The Sun reported.
It is not clear how the attack played out. Friends said she lived alone, but knew the suspect.
“Apparently, there has been some kind of altercation in the house and Sue has suffered some injuries,” said an unidentified friend to The Sun.
The suspect, who was not publicly identified, was charged with murder on Friday, according to The Sun.
Addis ran two popular restaurants, Donatello and Pinocchio, popular with celebrities and athletes.
Addis’s family begged for privacy, adding that they were “in shock” over her murder.
