In the trailer for the next original comedy series Peacock Girls5Eva, Busy Philipps, Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Paula Pell sing a four-voice harmony in a fake ’90s song that makes less sense the more you think about it, but it sounds great. Philipps, in particular, is giving a much bit Alexis’s energy on his soil. Girls5Eva, created by Meredith Scardino and executive produced by Tina Fey, it’s about a group of 90s girls who had a second chance at fame when sampled by a young rapper.
