Teams trying to make moves now to improve the eventual wizard supply for Bradley Beal

With James Harden and Jrue Holiday traded and Giannis Antetokounmpo now in a supermax extension, Bradley Beal is the biggest NBA star who could hit the market in the near future due to the continuing struggles of the Washington Wizards. Beal could become a free agent after the 21-22 season, which could prompt the Wizards to trade him.

“That’s what everyone is talking about in the league,” said Brian Windhorst in his podcast. “There are executives out there … I’m just saying this, I talk to them … who are talking about moves they can make when entering this negotiation deadline, or moves they can make now that potentially set them up to make an even better offer by Bradley Beal when that moment happens, whether in March or August.

“There are so many people watching this, even though he, as far as I know, has not asked for anything.”

The Wizards have a record of 3-11 this season, but Beal has a positive / negative in the minutes he played. Beal also leads the NBA in scoring with 35.4 points per game.
