South Carolina fullback video Jesse Sanders being encouraged to end a workout hit Twitter on Thursday night. In the video below, teammates and coaches surround Sanders as he pushes a sled with weights on the training grounds behind the Long Family Football Operations Center. Gamecocks are just over a week away from starting the spring 2021 camp on March 20.

Sanders, who resigned in 2020, is less than a year from suffering an ACL disruption that cost him the chance to dress like a real freshman. He is listed at 6 ft-3 and 240 pounds on the 2021 Gamecocks list. He will not participate in spring training while his rehabilitation continues.

Gamecocks tight end trainer Erik Kimrey quote tweeted the video saying “Coming back from an ACL, man (Jesse) has a contagious fighting spirit! “
