Taylor SwiftThe team is filing a lawsuit at a Utah theme park called Evermore.
In lawsuits obtained by E! News, Evermore claims that the singer’s latest album infringed his trademark by using the same name.
Theme park owners said the launch of ever caused confusion over whether the two were connected. In fact, the Utah site claimed in court documents that there was a “dramatic departure from typical levels” of traffic to its website in the week after the album was released.
On Thursday, February 4, Taylor’s team responded to the lawsuit in a statement to E! News.
“The fact is that this frivolous claim comes from Ken Bretschneider, founder and CEO of an experience park, “said a spokesman for Taylor. His spokesman added that” the real intent of this process must be obvious “in light of the processes, debts and burdens the company is facing. August 2020, Ken spoke of his legal battles by telling Utah Business, “We are honest people who pay our bills, but we have been placed in a deep financial hole, which we are working diligently to get out of”.
