Taylor Swift’s “Love Story”, re-recording Revs Up Streamers

Taylor Swift’s “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” grossed 5.8 million streams on demand (combined audio and video) in the United States on the day of its release, February 12, according to initial reports from MRC Data.

On February 11, Swift announced that he had re-recorded his 2008 album Fearless, how Fearless (Taylor version), and that the updated lead single, “Love Story (Taylor’s Version),” would be revealed on Thursday night (February 11). Fearless it became Swift’s first album on the Billboard 200, while “Love Story” was her second Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit. Since then, Swift has counted seven more albums in first place and 27 more of the 10 biggest hits of the list of the best 100.

Meanwhile, the original version of “Love Story” recorded 672,000 streams on demand on February 12. On February 11, she captured 504,000. In the days leading up to February 11, the original “Love Story” would normally yield between 270,000 and 325,000 daily broadcasts.
