Taylor Swift fans have been holding their breath since last year to hear … old Taylor Swift.
The diva announced last year her plans to
re-record much of his pop catalog prior to 2019’s “Lover” due to a disagreement with former producer Scooter Braun, who left Swift without legal authority over many of his greatest hits.
Any day, fans expect Swift, 31, to fall your 2008 version of “Fearless”, including his first single “Love Story”. In the meantime, the pop star blessed her loyal Swifties Friday with a teaser of “Wildest Dreams” -2.0, which originally appeared on the 2014 album “1989.” She shared an excerpt of the updated track via Instagram Stories, confirming that the song was chosen to promote DreamWork’s next equine animation, “Spirit Untamed”, which will be released on June 4.
The preview comes amid commotion for the singer of “Willow” at the Grammy on Sunday – the first to showcase her most recent work, which fell last year during a time when tours and live performances were impossible. Needless to say, fans are eager to see Swift take the stage again.
“One thing I can say about my Grammy performance that is not highly confidential is that my presentation includes my collaborators Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff,” said Swift in a video message shared by Grammy social media channels. Antonoff and Dessner worked with Swift to produce the release of the 2020 double album, “Folklore” and “Evermore”.
Sharing details of how her “folk family” came together during the pandemic, she added: “It is really exciting, honestly, to play music with your collaborators. This is something that I will never, ever take for granted again. “
Swift was nominated for six Grammys this year, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Folklore”.
