Taylor Swift is picking up the battle that its fans started with Netflix – copying one of its hit shows to a sexist and misogynistic joke that targets your love life.
Taylor responded on Monday morning on the streaming service and the “Ginny and Georgia” writers late Sunday evening, which showed Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and his mother Georgia (Brianne Howey) discussing relationships. Ginny joked, “What do you care? You pass men faster than Taylor Swift.”

Well, Taylor is not laughing. She says: “2010 has called and wants its lazy and deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading working women by defining this shit horse as fun.”
Swift fans are also irritated … #RespectTaylor started to become a trend overnight, and a fan tweeted: “It doesn’t suit me [that] Netflix has two Taylor Swift projects on its platform and they agree to treat it like that !!! RESPECT THE TAYLOR SWIFT. “
Yes, Taylor remembers that too, and her tweet even mentioned her “Miss Americana” special on Netflix. Suffice to say that Netflix has an unfortunate partner in Taylor and a host of angry viewers … also known as the Swifties.
