“I want to thank James, Ines and Betty.”
Taylor Swift just won the Grammy for Album of the Year!
CBS
Since Taylor has released so many amazing songs recently, I feel like I must specify that this was for Folklore.
Well, in her acceptance speech, Taylor thanked some very familiar names – and it looks like someone started chopping onions in my vicinity.

It’s late and I’ve been in there for a long time !!!
On the one hand, Taylor thanked her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, to whom she said, “He is the first person who plays every song I write.”
“I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine.”

If you’re like, “What does Joe have to do with Taylor’s music?” so don’t worry – he is listed as a co-writer for “Betty” and “Exile” under a pseudonym.
But the Folklore Easter eggs don’t stop there! Taylor then said, “I want to thank James, Ines and Betty and their parents, who are the second and third people who play each new song I write.”

AND WHO CAN THIS GROUP BE? Glad you asked! Well, the names of the characters in the Folklore Love triangle…

Which means Blake and Ryan are number 2 and 3 in all of Taylor’s new songs!

They must have heard * a lot * in the past year.
Congratulations again to Taylor !!
