The Washington Football Team has not yet named its starting quarterback for Sunday’s unmissable game against the Eagles, but Taylor Heinicke is struggling with the frontline attack today.

Reporters in attendance said Heinicke is welcoming representatives from the top team, while Alex Smith works alongside him as he continues to recover from a calf injury.

Smith lost Sunday’s game and Heinicke saw his first action in the attack by replacing Dwayne Haskins. The football team eliminated Haskins the next day, raising Heinicke to the first team, unless and until Smith can return.

Washington has no other defenders on the active roster, although Steven Montez is available on the training team.

If Washington beats Philadelphia on Sunday night, Washington will win NFC East. If Washington loses, the winner of the Cowboys-Giants game on Sunday afternoon wins NFC East.
