While Target already offers Apple products, the new dedicated spaces will extend “the range of Apple products” online and in stores, Target said.

In these locations, Apple products and accessories will be displayed in a location that will be “designed for guests to try new products through demonstrations” by “Targeted technology consultants, who will receive specialized training from Apple”.

“The retail collaboration builds on the relationship of more than 15 years between Target and Apple, combining the latest Apple products with the convenient shopping experience and fulfillment services,” said Target.

Target’s growth director, Christina Hennington, said the company “will continue to learn and improve the experience through future launches later this year.”

The announcement came after Target reported a strong sales sequence during a pandemic holiday season, with sales growing 102% between November and December.

Over the past year, the company has increased its efforts to provide alternatives to customers who are trying to minimize the risk of hiring COVID-19.
