Tanya Roberts‘longtime partner is planning a celebration of her life, but before that, he plans to honor her at a LA location close and dear to her heart.
Lance O’Brien tells TMZ … the late model and actress will be cremated and will spread her ashes on the hills behind her home in Laurel Canyon, where she used to hike regularly with her dogs.
Lance says that Tanya would take a 6.4 km walk with her two beloved dogs 5 times a week, and he adds … they miss their mother a lot.
Tanya’s partner told us it was an incredibly difficult week, but he is trying to make plans with his family and friends for a memorial service or some other way to honor her.
We broke the story … the actress best known for “That ’70s Show” and “Charlie’s Angels” died Monday night, potentially of an ICU that has spread to your kidneys and liver.
The news of her death was bizarrely announced prematurely the day before, the result of what appeared to be a major communication error between Lance and Tanya’s representative after Lance visited her at the hospital on Sunday night.

The way he described it … she was no response on a fanbut he thought she woke up when he got to his room.
Lance said the hospital staff told him it was just a reflex, and then his eyes closed and she left. He left her room thinking that she had died … until the hospital called Monday morning to say that she was still holding on.
