Tammy Bruce: Joy Behar ‘pulls the curtain’ on the Dems double pattern ‘Cuomo

Fox Nation presenter Tammy Bruce attacked Joy Behar on Tuesday after the defense of “The View” host to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo remained in power amid a sexual harassment scandal.

During an appearance on “Fox & Friends”, Bruce reacted to clips of Behar, who said he would be “concerned” if Cuomo resigned as governor, as this would open the door for a Republican to take office.

“What worries me is that if he resigns and a Republican becomes governor of the state of New York, many things will happen that I will not be happy with,” said Joy during a discussion on “The View”.

Bruce said that for Behar and others who want to “deviate”, the Democrats’ inability to keep their own representatives within the standards they created “pulls the curtain” towards political partisanship that overcomes accountability within the party.

“It is shocking to them that there is a pattern that Democrats will also follow,” said Bruce.

“I’m sorry, Joy Behar, you’re going to have to deal with something you may not like for a minute or two.”

During the discussion of the latest events, Behar’s co-host Sunny Hostin seemed to complain about how long the show was devoting itself to criticism of Cuomo, rather than Republican governors like Greg Abbott of Texas, Kristi Noem of South Dakota and Ron DeSantis of Florida, or “Deathsantis”, as she called him.

“We know that the coronavirus is emerging in Europe and we are usually only a few weeks behind it. We know that states like Florida and Texas have suspended mandates, masking mandates there. We know that people are running to establishments in Florida, Texas, South Dakota, people are dying across the country, but we are only asking Governor Cuomo to step down and we question his governance and question whether he can govern or not. And it seems to me that the same rules should apply across the board, “said Hostin.

Another presenter of “The View”, Whoopi Goldberg, in the past has not revealed to viewers his history of donations and organizational work with Cuomo. The New York Post reported in November that Goldberg, along with Ben Stiller and Rosie Perez, were the main attraction of a fundraiser for virtual re-election in December to celebrate Cuomo’s 63rd birthday.

Donations ranged from just $ 50 to $ 10,000.

Goldberg’s fundraising efforts for the governor date back to 2013, as the Post reported, when she spearheaded a $ 1,500 dinner for Cuomo at the Waldorf Astoria, a luxury hotel in New York.
