Talladega Nights actor Houston Tumlin passed away at the age of 28.
Tumlin, who was a child when he appeared in Will Ferrell’s 2006 film, died of suicide, according to Shelby County coroner Lina Evans, who spoke to TMZ.
Evans told the website that Tumlin was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot to the head at about 4:30 pm Tuesday at his home in Pelham, Alabama.

Sources told TMZ that Tumlin’s girlfriend was at the house at the time. A note was not found.

The film is his only professional credit.
Tumlin was serving in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell in 2015 and, according to TMZ, he got involved in other jobs, such as repairing phone lines.
