Absolver developers announce Kung Fu beat ’em up Sifu
After Absolver’s stylish multiplayer sandbox fight, Sloclap developers announced a return to punching. The next game is Sifu, a beat ’em up inspired by the “classics of kung fu cinema”, starring a young student looking for revenge for the murder of his family. He’ll be punching and kicking in style for a city, as you can see in the ad trailer below.
The developers of Dying Light 2 claim management flaws and toxic culture in Techland
A new report on development practices at Techland contains quotes from employees who claim that mismanagement, indecision and the use of homophobic slanders hampered the ongoing work on Dying Light 2. CEO Pawel Marchewka responded at length to the allegations – but advocated hanging a photo of a nude woman next to a cheetah in her office.
Bloodlines 2 delayed again and its developers replaced
Over the months, it seems that we are getting further and further away from Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 launching. The supernatural RPG was originally supposed to be released in 2020, before it was postponed to 2021. Now, publisher Paradox Interactive says it won’t happen either. But the real shock? Paradox is removing developer Hardsuit Labs from Bloodlines 2 and will be finalizing the project in a different studio.
