System of a Down has released a new music video for one of its 2020 return singles, “Genocidal Humanoidz”. Co-directed by bassist Shavo Odadjian and Adam Mason, the new video features animation, as well as performance sequences. The video aired at the end of an event broadcast live this afternoon to raise funds for humanitarian causes, such as the non-profit organizations Armenia Fund and Armenia Wounded Heroes Fund. The release of the most recent singles from System of a Down marked the band’s first new song in 15 years and benefited the Armenian Fund as well. Frontman Serj Tankian recently joined RATM guitarist Tom Morello to cover “Natural’s Not In It” by Gang of Four.
