Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Unconfirmed Hopeful Character

Other Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Hopeful DLC character has been confirmed. Earlier this week, when a long-standing and highly requested DLC character was apparently deconfirmed, he took the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite users by surprise. A few days later, another character was more or less unconfirmed, although this one probably won’t take many by surprise, given how new the character is.

Beside Tsushima Ghost, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, DOOM Eternal, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and some other games, Hades was on the list of many GOTY 2020s, and with good reason. A big part of the game’s appeal is its characters and its story. And at the center of the latter is Zagreus, the protagonist of the game. That said, while it is easy to imagine a future in which Zagreus is in a four-way battle for his life against Kirby, Falco and Steve, it doesn’t seem that it will happen in time for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

When asked if he would like to see Zagreus added, writer and designer Greg Kasavin was, unsurprisingly, ready for the crossover. That said, at the same time, he always casts doubts about what’s going on, at least soon.

“On a personal level, I think it would be incredible,” said Kasavin. “Smash does a great job of adapting characters so faithfully, sometimes even more faithfully from the games that those characters come from. I’m a huge fan of NEO-GEO fighting games and they brought in Terry Bogard … so yes, I think they would do an incredible job, but it’s one of those things, since I’m sure they have a very long list! “

As you can see, Kasavin doesn’t fully confirm that we won’t see the Hades character comes to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but he strongly implies that. And as mentioned, this makes sense, given that Hades released last year. Furthermore, although the game was award winning and popular, the character himself is far from being an icon or at the level of others waiting to be added.
