When you visit a theme park, one of the most important aspects is the theme within that terrain. The Super Nintendo World at Universal Japan is definitely preparing for a highly themed experience, as visitors will enter through a green tube, as Super Mario does in many Nintendo games. Then, they are suddenly enveloped by a world of video game cartoons. Now, we can start to see what the walking characters will look like, and Universal deserves a pat on the back.

Masklomaniac (@masklomaniac) posted a picture of Princess Peach on Twitter, and she looks like she came out of a video game! I hope she can do her classic “Ha-Cha!” sound effect.

Peach mascot revealed for the Super Nintendo World!

The impressive aspect of this character is the face. Not only are Princess Peach’s facial features identical to those of Super Mario Kart or any other Nintendo game, but her hair almost looks like it was photoshopped. The strands look real and cartoonish – if you look long enough, you may be wondering if you are seeing a real picture or of Princess Peach from within a game. In addition, having a Princess Peach character within this land is crucial and will probably be one of the first characters we will see, considering that the entrance to the green tube pours guests into Princess Peach’s castle!
