A Florida man was identified as the “Super Bowl streaker” who ran into the field during the 2021 Super Bowl.
Police accused Yuri Andrade, 31, of Boca Raton, Fla., Of trespassing after he interrupted the fourth period of the Super Bowl LV between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Andrade was wearing shorts and a pink bathing suit as he ran across the field before being approached near the final zone by security guards at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.
The Associated Press reports that Andrade was released Monday morning after paying $ 500 bail, according to Hillsborough County prison records.
The WFLA reports that Andrade was planted in the game by social media personality Vitaly Zdorovetskiy to promote an adult website called Vitaly Uncensored, which was written in Andrade’s pink swimsuit. The Houston Chronicle reports that Zdorovetskiy is the same prankster who ran onto the field during the 2017 World Series and onto the court during the 2014 NBA finals.
It is not clear whether Zdorovetskiy could face charges for his involvement.
Online rumors began to spin on Monday, claiming that Andrade may also have made a lot of money by betting on himself. Sideline Daily said that Andrade was seen at the J. Alexander restaurant in Tampa at lunchtime on Monday, and Andrade claimed to have bet $ 50,000 on a +750 prop bet that there would be a streaker in the Super Bowl – which would have earned you $ 375,000.
“The guys are good at math,” wrote Andrade on Instagram along with a screenshot of the betting statement.
However, Patrick Everson, Las Vegas-based Covers.com reporter said a spokesman for the global sports betting market told him that the claims are probably not true.
“No sane book would have a $ 50,000 limit on that. Nowhere close, ”said the spokesman. “If there was one, I would be right next to him in a pink tutu.”
