Petersson made his Super Bowl debut with a 30-second ad of himself singing about the brand’s oat milk.
“It’s like milk / Made for humans,” he sang while playing the keyboard in an open field of oats. “It’s like milk / But, made for humans.”
“Wow, wow, no cow,” Petersson sang later, as the pace increased.

The announcement provoked a strong reaction from users of social networks, who expressed whether they loved or hated the commercial.
“Weird commercial lol, but I love @oatly,” wrote music producer and songwriter Questlove.
At the opposite end, writer and journalist Derek Thompson joked that Oatly’s commercial inspired him to drink cow’s milk.

“I haven’t had any real milk in months, but that Oatly ad made me reconsider strongly,” he tweeted.
Although the internet appears to be torn between Oatly’s marketing tactic and Petersson’s singing, the brand’s Super Bowl t-shirt was completely sold out on Monday night.

“The rules of time and space make it impossible to return the 30 seconds you just spent watching our Super Bowl commercial, but at least we can give you this free T-shirt that lets the world know where you are in our attempt to promote skills of Toni’s corner for a wider audience, ”says the product description.
Oatly also sold out of his $ 28 “Wow No Cow!” t-shirt, which was similar to the one Petersson wore in the commercial.
