Super Bowl 2021: Chiefs, Bucs choose shirt colors for the title game

Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers chose the colors of their shirts for the Super Bowl LV.

The Chiefs is the current Super Bowl champion after defeating the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl LIV, which took place in Miami. Kansas City ended with the best NFL record and is the favorite for the game against the Buccaneers.

The team announced that they will wear their red T-shirts with white letters.

The Buccaneers are making their second Super Bowl appearance in the franchise’s history. Tampa Bay made it to the Super Bowl during the 2002 season and beat the Oakland Raiders.

Eighteen years later, Tampa Bay is on the verge of its second Super Bowl, with Tom Brady leading the charge. Brady and the Buccaneers finished second in the NFC Southern division with a record 11-5 and won three playoffs to reach the Super Bowl, where they will basically play at home because the Super Bowl LV will take place at Raymond James Stadium.

Bucs will wear their white T-shirts with red letters.

Kansas City are 2-0 in their red T-shirts after wearing them in last year’s game. Tampa Bay never wore the white shirt in the Super Bowl, winning Super Bowl XXXVII in their red uniforms.
