Suns blitz Bulls in 4th place for a pullout victory, 106-97

Phoenix Suns gained strength in the 4th period and won the victory 106-97.

Frank Kaminski was able to make up for the lack of Dario Saric to help keep the game going, while the starting team behind Deandre Ayton for the Suns managed to get in and finish the job.

The Suns had a 26-6 run in the fourth period to turn the margin, similar to their 37-7 run in the fourth period a week ago over the Pelicans.

The Suns are now 21-11 in the year, while the Bulls have dropped to 15-17.

First half

In the first four minutes to the start of the game, the Suns tried to catch the ball for Ayton earlier with a small grunt from veteran point guard Chris Paul. Touching the ball in four of the first 11 possessions expects to raise some urgency in Ayton.

The Bulls’ twists and turns at the start of the game gave Suns a chance to extend the lead to a total of four in the first quarter.

Mr. First Quarter himself, Devin Booker, continued the tendency to lead the Suns in great attempts at kicks and scores from 5 to 11 on the field with 10 points.

Mikal Bridges did his best to reach the margin, finishing the fourth with five points. With the absence of Saric, coach Monty Williams will seek this collaborator from the beginning.

Cleaning up the errors, the Bulls managed to tie the game at 26 each, after the Suns managed to jump to an advantage of 11 points.

It became the game Thaddeus Young against Frank Kaminski at the beginning of the second quarter, when they were exchanging blow for blow. It sounds like a boring confrontation, but can the passion for scoring each other show that they have some kind of history together? They must have shared a girlfriend once, maybe. Both would reach the bench at the eight-minute mark in the second with Frank with six points and Young with eight.

Still fighting beyond the arc, the Suns started game 1-8 and Bull 3-13.

To end the first half, the Bulls left in a 9-0 race, taking the advantage to 42-48. After a Suns timeout, Paul and Booker managed to get to the line, something you don’t see often at Suns. But, unable to gain traction in the Bulls after that, the Suns entered the tunnel in the mid-fall 58-46.

Main Suns statistics in the range:

  • Suns gave up 30 points in the painting
  • ZERO Turnovers
  • 10 bank points
  • 1-10 of 3
  • Rebound overcome by 22-15 without giving up an offensive rebound

Second time

Ayton was the Suns’ priority to start the second half. Catching the ball for him, almost without result. This led Suns to offend in other directions. Get to Booker and Bridges’ free throw line by hitting a three to try to start the attack.

So, back to Ayton again. At the 7 minute mark of the 3rd period, Suns managed to reduce the advantage to seven. Ayton was fed the ball repeatedly to reach 14 points. When the intermediate game and the 3-point game are not flowing, the next action was to feed the interior.

The Suns managed to make a run of 13-2, but ball three did not fall. The Bulls were able to take down more than a pair of three to increase the lead to 12. This is the Bulls’ mysterious man – Luke Kornet hitting 3 out of 3 out of 3.

The bank, including Abdel Nader and Frank, were able to enter and chain an 11-0 streak helping Suns close the gap. A little more movement of the Suns ball and mistakes (including a Billy Donavan coach) from the Bulls defense contributed to the help.

Frank started the 4th quarter with his 13th point and a big block at the other end. The battle between Frank and Young had a taste for more blood. A change of shirt after the game may have happened.

Ayton replaced Frank in the heat of battle and the Suns fed the great man. All touches in the first half and the third quarter led

The Suns led the 6:14 mark in the fourth quarter with a Cam Johnson lay-in 89-87.

Even with the referees’ lack of respect again for Booker, emotions were kept in check just enough to not receive a technique. The focus on finishing the Bulls on the defensive end and inside the painting completed the comeback when Ayton was fed and the shots started to fall.
