CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – High pressure is moving to the southeast and will provide a lot of sunshine today. The maximums will heat up to about 70 degrees. A weak cold front will pass through the area tonight without any rain or clouds. This will start to cool us down from tomorrow. The highs on Friday will be in the 60s. The high clouds will start to increase on Friday with a very cloudy start to the week. A disturbance will pass to our south to start the weekend bringing a round of clouds on Saturday morning. The clouds will give way to the sun on Saturday afternoon, with sunny skies continuing on Sunday. The highs this weekend will be cooler at around 50 degrees on Saturday, close to 60 degrees on Sunday. Dry weather is expected for the next 7 days with a warming trend next week.
