Tamil hero Karthi teamed up with Rashmika Mandanna for a new film, Sulthan. The film marks Rashmika’s debut in Tamil. The film will be released in Telugu and Tamil under the same title. The producers released the teaser for the film, which is full of action.
Sulthan’s teaser reveals the faces of many talented actors. This indicates that the film has many antagonists. The teaser begins with a character discussing Mahabharata and Lord Krishna. The teaser uses some Mahabharatha references when introducing the characters. Karthi plays Sulthan in the film and in one scene, he asks his opposite person to reimagine what would have happened if Krishna had supported Kauravas, instead of Pandavas in the Mahabharata.
By provocation, we understand that the role of Karthi will be similar to that of Lord Krishna of Mahabharatha, but with a difference. Bakkiyaraj Kannan wrote and directed the project. Dream Warrior Pictures is on board as producers.
Sharing the teaser for the film, Karthi wrote: “#Sulthan, an honest effort to bring a family artist complete with humor, romance, action and a strong man-to-man relationship. I hope you all like it. “
Rashmika, who is debuting in Kollywood with Sulthan, shared the teaser and wrote: “Introducing the teaser for #Sulthan, a perfect family artist.”
Sulthan will hit the screens on April 2, 2021.
