‘Subnautica: Below Zero’ will have a full release in May

After two years of initial access, the underwater survival sequence Subnautica: Below Zero is ready for the big moment. Contrary to the staggered launch of its predecessor, developer Unknown Worlds is bringing indie to PC, Mac and simultaneously to all major consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, on May 14.

THE Subnautica accompaniment, set in the aquatic depths of the arctic alien planet 4546B, will be available on Steam and the Epic Game Store; on PlayStation 4 and 5; Xbox One and Series S / X; and the Switch in physical and digital editions for $ 30. To exchange players who missed the action in the first round, a physical package combining the original Subnautica and the streak is also expected to drop on May 14 for $ 60.

Set one year after the events of the first game, Subnautica: Below Zero submerge you back in the dangerous waters of your hostile alien world. Your goal is to stay alive by gathering resources and devising new technologies while unraveling the mysteries of the icy tundra. Unknown Worlds has spent the past two years improving the initial access version based on player feedback. Now, you’re almost ready to release the open-world sequel to a larger group of players at once.
