Chelsea Timmons decided to make it his last delivery because the roads in Austin, Texas, were getting more slippery. When it ended up being stuck in the customer’s garage, it was discovered that there was a large silver lining.
Not wanting to go up to the garage, the employee at the HEB grocery store tried to climb the steep slope with her car, but slipped helplessly into the garden.
Although the couple tried to help move her car, efforts failed – and the AAA road service was already flooded with calls.
That’s when Nina Richardson and Doug Condon decided, with the weather getting worse and security concerns growing, that she needed to settle in her home.
“It’s just what you do when things come up,” Nina told ABC News.
“We have daughters and we hope that if they were ever in a situation like this, there would be someone who would open their home and help them,” added Doug.

During dinner, they learned that Chelsea would like to open a bakery someday – and she soon offered to bake them a delicious gluten-free coconut cake.
She slept in the guest room for five days, became friends with the dog and realized how lucky she was overall.
“I found out that my apartment lost water, lost energy, so being ‘stuck here’ turned out to be a better situation. Most of my family lost electricity for several days. “

“I definitely ate a lot better here,” she exclaimed. “They made me feel comfortable and made me feel part of the family.”
