Storms will subside in the morning … Then the sun will come back on Tuesday!

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A hot front will rise through the area overnight, resulting in temperatures that rise to 60 degrees before the cold front race runs until Tuesday morning. A line of rain and storms is likely tonight, as the warmer, unstable air pushes briefly into Lowcountry. Any storm tonight can produce lightning and strong winds. The best chance of a strong storm will be from Savannah and points to the south, along with Grand Strand to the north in North Carolina. Although widespread harsh weather is not likely, a storm can be severe to severe. Sunlight will return tomorrow when we get rid of unstable weather. Probably more sunshine on Wednesday, before our next storm system moves southeast on Thursday.
