Storm to bring rain, cold weather to Lowcountry!

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A low pressure area will move rapidly across the Southeast in the next 24 hours bringing a round of clouds, rain and cold conditions. Sunlight will give way to clouds today, as the storm system rapidly approaches the west. The chance of strokes will increase after dark with a constant, sometimes heavy rain, between 8 pm and 2 am on Friday. The heavy rain will be removed on Friday morning, but showers will continue from sunrise to afternoon and possibly into the evening. It will be a cloudy, cold and humid Friday, with maximums only in the 40s in the interior and minimums in the 50s on the coast. The clouds will disappear quickly on Saturday morning, with a sunny weekend on the way. The maximums will be in their 50s this weekend.
