Nathan Apodaca have some dreams that I would like to sell, but Stevie Nicks I’m just not going to let that happen … that’s what the skateboarder who went viral for vibrating with his hit song says.
A representative for Nathan, also known as Doggface, told TMZ … Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” is part of the Warner Music Group catalog, so they tried to see if they could include the track in Nathan’s famous 23-second clip on skateboard on TikTok to him while drinking cranberry juice … which he wants to sell as a non-fungible token (NFT).
They said that Doggface’s team offered Stevie – who wrote the song – 50% of the sale … but she declined.
Nathan’s rep says he feels despised because Stevie never recognized him after his video “Dreams” went viral – unlike some other members of the Fleetwood Mac did – although it helped to give a big boost to your music.
We are told that Doggface thinks that her rejection of the NFT offer shows that she does not want to have anything to do with him or his video.
We spread the story … Nathan is still going ahead with selling the NFT of their original video, but will be without the music, as they could not guarantee the rights.
The NFT will now go on sale on March 27th with opening bids set at a whopping $ 500,000, so Stevie may regret his decision … IF someone buys for that much.
We got in touch with Stevie’s team … no word back.
