Steve Martin gets coronavirus vaccine

You know Steve Martin: actor, comedian, usually a lovely man.

Well, good news! Steve has just received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Of course, Steve couldn’t share the news without telling a small joke too:

Good news / bad news. Good news: I just got vaccinated! Bad news: I understand why I’m 75 years old. There is! The New York operation was silky smooth (sorry for the @BCDreyer cliché!) And perfectly hosted by the U.S. Army and the National Guard. Thank you all and thank you science.

He also answered a question about exactly how he got the vaccine:

I signed up ON line through a NYC dot gov website (sorry, I don’t have the exact website) and waited in line at the Javits Center. https://t.co/Ohp3frxy6i

This is not the only time Steve tweeted about the coronavirus – like the time he joked about using a giant “Steve Martin” sign above his head.

I always wear a mask when I go outside. But something about it was making me anxious and uneasy. I thought about the problem, solved it, and here’s the solution.

Well, at least one thing is positive!
