A job application handwritten by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 1973 was put up for auction. The last time it was sold, it went for over $ 175,000 …

Auctioneers Charterfields provides the backdrop.

An employment form signed on a single 1973 page is being offered for sale at auction.

In the questionnaire Steve Jobs highlights his experience with “computers and calculators” and special skills in “electronic technology or design engineer – digital”.

The questionnaire is believed to have been completed by the time he left Reed College in Portland, Oregon.

A year later, he joined Atari as a technician, where he worked with Steve Wozniak before founding Apple in 1976.

The application is in very good condition, with some general creases, light spots and old transparent tape on the top edge. It is accompanied by letters and certificates of authenticity.

Previously, it was sold at an auction in 2018 for more than $ 175,000.

There is no indication of the position for which he was applying, nor the name of the company. The skills section, however, indicates a computer company.

The auction is online and lasts four hours on February 24th. If you have a lot of money to spend on a peculiar piece of memorabilia, you can register to bid before the action opens.
