Steve Aoki joined Capcom in an arcade closet and Street Fighter clothing line

DJ Steve Aoki and his label Dim Mak and fashion brand have joined Capcom in some Street Fighter– themed items: a limited edition arcade cabinet, a clothing line and even a remix of the theme song by Street Fighter icon Ryu.

The bench’s arcade cabinet, which you can see at the top of this post, will allow up to two players to play four different Capcom games together: Street Fighter II: World Warrior, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and Final fight. The cabinet is made in partnership with Arcade1Up and is the first bench cabinet for two players that the company manufactures.

In addition to the elegant art in the cabinet, each one is signed by Aoki. But if you want to get your hands on it, you need to act fast, as there are only 30 units available. The case costs $ 199 and will be launched in May.

There is also a Street Fighter– inspired clothing. You can see the complete collection on the Dim Mak website, and we have included some photos in this gallery.

Ryu’s theme song remix, entitled “Ryu’s Theme (The Moe’s Pizzeria Steve Aoki Remix),” has yet to be released. It will be available on February 19, but you can pre-save it to the streaming service of your choice right now. I haven’t heard the remix yet, but I’m looking forward to checking out Aoki’s opinion of the iconic song.

According to a press release announcing the collaboration, Aoki was a great Street Fighter growing fan, going to a local pizzeria every day after school to play. This love for the series definitely shows in the cabinet and in the clothing collection.

And the main thing about Aoki? “Ryu,” he said in an email to The Verge. (I can’t say this is surprising, given Ryu’s prominence in much of the equipment.) “I always chose him as a child, when he played obsessively Street Fighter II. He represents the strong and iconic Japanese warrior hero that I always wanted to be, ”said Aoki.
