Steph Curry’s ‘antenna raised’ after Nets James Harden’s sales success

The Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets rocked the NBA scene on Wednesday when they reportedly agreed to a four-team exchange that will send James Harden to the Eastern Conference.

“Casual Wednesday,” said Steph Curry on Wednesday night during an interview with Tim Roye on 95.7 The Game.

If the massive exchange that also involves the Indiana Pacers and the Cleveland Cavaliers is completed, Harden will meet with former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Kevin Durant and join All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving – if he returns of his strange absence.

“Very crazy,” Curry said to Roye. “I know, in this league, nothing should surprise you and there have been a lot of successful deals in the last four, five, six years. But it is just crazy to know that when that really happens, the league scene changes immediately.

“And obviously KD being here with the team we had and now with Kyrie and James, it will be very interesting to watch this happen together.”

The NBA never fails to disappoint, with countless star-studded negotiations taking place every year. On the day that the NHL opened the 2021 season, the NBA stole its thunder.

“This league is pure entertainment and that kind of trading keeps interest up,” said Curry.

The Warriors and the Nets have a few things in common this season. Both teams have ambitious goals, but it is a question of the players coming together. This will determine how far each team will go in the NBA playoffs.

While Curry is focused on helping the Warriors return to the postseason, the latest seismic shift in the NBA caught his eye.

“Excited to watch until the end, but obviously as a competitor, he keeps his antenna in the air,” said Curry.
