Steph Curry leaves Klay Thompson hanging and spits water in the Warriors victory

Dub Nation is counting the days until they can see Klay Thompson and Steph Curry on the same backcourt together.

For now, fans will have to settle for high-fives … er, attempted high-fives … in parallel among the Splash Brothers.

During the Warriors’ powerful submission in the 130-108 victory on Monday night over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Curry left Thompson hanging by celebrating a big 3 points as part of his 36 point night.

OK, Steph is still getting used to having Thompson behind the bench at home games. They are rusty, but they will discover their chemistry.

Curry continued to have fun while the Warriors put the game aside by defeating the Timberwolves 37-25 in the fourth quarter. Upon returning to the floor after a break, Curry redefined the nickname Splash Brother when he laughed and spat some water on the floor. Fortunately, his teammates were there to clean up the spill, with Curry looking anxiously to make sure all the spots were dry.

Newcomer Nico Mannion must be a comedian or something, because Curry immediately popped. It is also a good thing that the game was already underway at that point, so the Warriors were able to avoid a Jason Kidd controversy over the water glass.

But seriously, who has more fun on the basketball court than Curry?
