Steph Curry hits more than 100 consecutive points from three points in practice before the Warriors game

The Golden State Warriors did not have a great start to the 2020-21 season and Stephen Curry knows that.

The Warriors are without Klay Thompson for another season and Draymond Green has yet to appear in the first two games of the season. Curry averages 19.5 points per game and is shooting 34% on the field and only 20% in the three-point range.

The fights became apparent and Curry was burning the midnight oil on Saturday in preparation for the Warriors’ game against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

Curry hit 105 consecutive strokes in practice. The Warriors said they had captured the last 103 video shots at the Bulls’ premises.

“I think his previous record was 77. This is insane,” said coach Steve Kerr. “I don’t know if the Guinness Book of World Records still exists. This was one of my favorite books growing up.

The Warriors’ technical assistant, Bruce Fraser, counted the shots and Kerr didn’t hear about the shots until later.

“It was SO amazing – 105 consecutive 3s. I knew it could be special around 30. Just amazing,” Fraser told the Associated Press via text message. “There was nothing about the one he lost. In fact, I was more focused on just making good passes. I was nervous! Haha. Yes, a lot of hum.”

Curry was injured for most of last season and when he was starting to get into the rhythm to return, the season was interrupted because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Warriors were not invited to the Disney bubble for a fresh start.

Curry is considered one of the best pitchers in NBA history and will count on him once again to stay healthy and help the team get back into the playoffs.
