It is the time of giving and the big recipients of Buffalo Bills did not disappoint.
On Christmas Eve, the unit spent time with wide receiver coach Chad Hall. At some point during the meeting, the recipients brought Hall out. With a winter cap covering his face, Stefon Diggs and Andre Roberts took his trainer close to his gift. When the time was right, Roberts took off his hat so that Hall could see his gift, a new truck.
The receivers applauded while Hall looked stunned by his new vehicle and told Hall that he would have to keep his current vehicle behind.
In the video below, originally shared by Isaiah McKenzie on Instagram, but now deleted, Cole Beasley says the idea of buying a new truck for Hall was Gabriel Davis’ idea. He came to Beasley and Diggs with the idea and the unit pooled its funds to buy the truck.
Hall has received many accolades from his recipients this season.
Stefon Diggs called Hall, “one of, if not the best coach” he already had in October and recently praised the coach again for contributing to your success this season. Diggs, in his first season with the Bills, already holds the record for the reception team in one season. He is currently first in the league in catches.
Beasley also praised Hall. At a press conference with the media earlier this year, Beasley talked about how well Hall handles everyone’s personality.
“He knows how the guys feel during the game,” said Beasley. “He knows how to react when one of our people makes a mistake, to keep us going, to make us play well and not worry too much about it. He does a great job managing all the great personalities in our room. There are a lot of guys with a lot of talent, so when you have that, I mean, everyone wants the ball with every move. Trying to control that atmosphere is, you know, easier said than done. He did a great job, probably better than anyone I’ve ever been with. I know it helped my game a lot. He helped me fight through bad plays. “
As well as Diggs, Beasley is also having a career year in Buffalo. He has set new records in his career in receptions (79) and yards (950) with two games remaining.

In addition to the two main recipients of Buffalo in 2020, Hall has been an asset to names like John Brown (1,060 yards in 2019), newcomer Gabriel Davis (6 touchdowns), Isaiah McKenzie and others as he helped shape the Bills’ recipients into one of the best units in the league.
After all that Hall did for them, the unit seemed more than happy to do something for their trainer on Christmas Eve.
