A 2021 NFL Mock Draft Wild Card Weekend Is In Order
One week from the playoffs, three more to go; what a wild card wild weekend it was when the previously 11-0 Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Cleveland Browns in the first round. As the aging Steelers appear to be younger, they will need to get all of their choices right in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft.
In addition to Browns’ first playoff victory since 1994, the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills also advanced in the AFC. On the NFC side, Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set for the third round with the New Orleans Saints, while the Los Angeles Rams will try to take down the Green Bay Packers after defeating the Seattle Seahawks.
We are reduced to eight teams, which means that 24 choices were finalized in the NFL’s 2021 draft. What better time for a complete three-round simulation sketch?
1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
It’s official. Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is leaving for the NFL and won’t have to wait long to hear his name called. In fact, he won’t have to wait beyond the first general choice in the NFL’s 2021 Draft to find a new home when he goes to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
A screwdriver could be thrown at it if former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer lands in Jacksonville, even though he never trained Justin Fields. However, around here, the status quo is achieved while Lawrence remains at the top of the recruitment picture.

2. New York Jets: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio
Justin Fields will try to continue his legacy tonight, as he and the Ohio State Buckeyes seek to upset Alabama Crimson Tide for their first national title since 2014. Coming from the best game of a stellar career in Columbus, Ohio, Fields will look to further solidify plus your draft stock. As the New York Jets change their culture away from that of former coach Adam Gase, a new name under the center is also his future.
