Steam has lots of PC demos so we can check again

The February Steam Game Festival lasts until Tuesday

The demo-packed Steam Game Festivals are becoming an accessory in the PC showcase, and I’m here for that. The last event started this morning and will continue until February 9 at 10:00, Pacific.

At first glance, the Steam Game Festival landing page for February 2021 is better than before for casual “let me have a look” browsing. Maybe you have a wish list ready to go – that’s the ideal way to do this – or maybe you’re interested in trying out some of the next PC games, but you don’t know where to start.

Steam has several genres, subgenres, art styles and even “moods” to help you narrow things down. That said, there are hundreds of Steam Festival demos to review, if you want.

I am not above using the Popular Next list as a cheat sheet. Little Nightmares II is at the top, and I agree with that – I wish I could say more today! Also consider searching Tasomachi, Dream Engines, Stay out of the house, Loop Hero, Genesis Noir, Minute of Islands, Dorfromantikand Steel Attack.

One last thing: you don’t have to have played the first one Little nightmares to dive into this demo.
