HBO Max revealed its list of TV shows and films for February, which includes complete series of Static Shock and Justice League.
HBO Max will soon see an infusion of new TV shows and films, including the complete series of Static Shock and Justice League.
Justice League and Justice League Unlimited will be available for broadcast from February 1st, while Static Shock will arrive in service on February 15. Other DC Comics programs and films premiering on HBO Max include Batman: Brave and the Bold, more Aquaman on February 5 and Batman on February 15th.
HBO Max will also see two premieres on the same day in February, as part of Warner Bros. ‘plans to release its films for 2021 simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max. These films include Judas and the Black Messiah, which opens on February 12, and Tom and Jerry on February 26th. Another DC Comics film is on that list, as The Suicide Squad will premiere on August 6, 2021.
Static Shock it is based on the Milestone Media comic strip of the same name, and revolves around teenager Virgil Hawkins after he gained electromagnetic skills in an accident called “The Big Bang”. Virgil adopts the persona of Static to protect his hometown, Dakota, from all types of threats. A live action Static Shock the film is currently in development at Warner Bros., with Michael B. Jordan producing through his Outlier Society banner.
