New Mexico has the highest percentage of its population fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the CDC’s COVID-19 vaccine administration and distribution data tracker.

The CDC data tracker compiles data from healthcare facilities and public health officials. It is updated daily to report the total number of people in each state who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

As of 6 am EDT on April 1, a total of 56,089,614 Americans had been fully vaccinated, or 16.9% of the country’s population.

Below are the states and Washington, DC, ranked by the percentage of their population that has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the CDC.
